Wenxin Xu
Research Assistant in PolyU
I am currently a research assistant at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). I will begin my PhD studies in 2026 spring, co-advised by Prof. Chen Jason Zhang, Prof. Xiaoyong Wei and Prof. Qing Li. Previously, I obtained my Master’s and Bachelor’s degree at Xidian University, under the guidance of Prof. Xuefeng Liang.
My research interests mainly lie in Natural Language Processing (NLP), especially in the fields of text2sql and text2vis. Additionally, I am interested in multimodal learning, including topics like imbalanced multimodal learning, incomplete multimodal learning, etc., specifically in the field of affective computing.
